I guess that 11th rep was taking a while.

Konstantin - it's an older avatar, just noticed it when I was uploading a photo of the wee man and thought I'd revert. Not planning on playing American Football down in London.

Oops - I did notice the Avatar and had a look to see if it was you, but meant something else. That picture of Spug Minor was so well received it is a good candidate for an Avatar.

On the other hand, if he's on the table maybe he should have his own log in.

Ah right, I get you. I thought there might be an interest in American Football driving the question when I misunderstood it. I would use it as an avatar but to be honest the wife thinks it's a bit weird to use avatars or facebook profile pics of the wee man by himself. If I have an arm or something in there then it's fair game.

He's getting pretty good on the computer, will have his own account soon enough anyway:

I have a feeling I should do a max set of pushups to get this thread back on track. Been doing quite a bit of boxing/kickboxing this year so the numbers might be up a bit.

Did 15 reps today, focusing on speed!

Have changed my pushup style, using what I have learnt in yoga and PL bench. Hands shoulder distance apart, thumbs under nipples keeping elbows tucked into body. Think this might carry over better to bench pressing and help with core strength.

best i've ever done is 25 in a set. right now i've worked my way back to 20.

was listening to Chuck Zito on the radio last night. he mentioned (and in his book) that when he was in a Japanese prison years ago, in solitary confinement, that he'd do 1000 push-ups and 1000 sit-ups a day to pass time and keep in shape. he'd do 10 sets of 100 with 15 min between sets. and some bodyweight isometric stuff

Up on the table, your bench is pretty good you should be able to build your reps up quickly.

Oh my goodness, Wee Spug is adorable! :D

So having been without a gym because I'm on the road for work, my number has gone up. Please mark me down for 25 push-ups! And, for evidence and form critique, I filmed it :)

And its true, trying to show-off gets you no where! :D

31 with a colleague at work.
"The worker has the right to leave his boss, but can she do it? And if she does quit him, is it in order to lead a free life; where she will have no master but herself? No, she leaves to sell herself to another employer. She's driven by the same hunger. Thus the worker's liberty is only a theoretical freedom, lacking any means of realization; an utter falsehood."

I've missed this thread somehow. I made it up to 66 a couple of months ago. I need to get back at it, but I think I need a different program, the hundredpushups one killed me! I never made it past week 5.
