VFW Information

Postby Giulia » Mon Jan 24, 2011 12:11 pm

The VFW 2011 will be held in Austria!

Date: Friday 1.- Thursday 7. July 2011
Location: Wr. Neustadt, Austria
Costs: can't be told yet, will be between 100-150 euro
Food: will be organized

This will be a CAMPING week, the price includes the camping. We will have a big football field where we can camp,
those wo don't want to sleep in a tent can sleep in one room on the floor.

Everybody who doesn't wan't to camp, can rent a room in a youthhostel.
The hostel provided me 16 beds. So everyone who wants a bed should quickly reserve his/her spot!
There are 3 rooms with 2 beds each,
2 rooms with 3 beds each
and 1 room with 4 beds each.

Until 31. March I need to have the reservations from the guys that want to stay in the hostel. From then on I have to pay a cancelation fee.

The price for 2 bed rooms is 18,63 euro per night and person (130,41 euro for the week)
the price for 3 and 4 bed rooms is 15,13 per night and person (105,91 euro for the week).

For reserving your spot on the VFW 2011 write me an email with the following information to vfw2011@gmail.com:

-Real Name
-Nickname in the Forum
-Camp or hostel (which room: 2,3 or 4 beds)

Sounds fantastic! It's -1 F here in Boston right now, so I can't wait for summer!

I am going to be trying the JP no compromise approach to attending.
Excited about the bicep flexing opportunities that bowling will provide!

"oh, those dates are for veganfitness week, get married on some other day"

"I understand"

Talk is cheap, I expect you to call Finland and ask them to move the comp 8)

For me those dates are suboptimal, but I'll se what I can do.

You need to phone them and tell them to change the dates so they do not clash with VFW 2011!

Suboptimal dates for me too. Hopefully I can participate a few days in the beginning. I'll try at least.

Excellent work Guilia!

happy that you are happy :D

I can understand that the timing is not optimal for some of you, but it was the only possibility, since in August the school will build a third gym and therefore close the whole area and the rest of july I'm busy, because the 8.+9. I'll have the last weekend of my personal trainer course and from 10. july onwards I'll be climbing and mountaineering in France (and Italy maybe).

And in september school starts again. So this is the only option for holding a low budget, high pleasure VFW

Already looking forward to see all of you again!

This is a suboptimal year for me to attend. Sorry.

Perhaps it could be rescheduled for 2020?
