I made the giant mistake of starting up my WoW subscription again. Bad idea.. The new expansion is pretty damn awesome.

I also got the Back to the Future adventure game. Its pretty fun/old school.

It really has become quite a great game. They have learned from their mistakes in the old versions. If you can moderate yourself I would say give it a shot.

Hell I can give you free time and if you sign up I get a free month.. *wink* *wink*

I am not touching WoW with a ten foot pole! I played in the beta and I like going outside, see the sun, talking to people IRL, etc. (Then again, since all my friends have been in a StarCraft haze there aren't that many people to talk to anyway.)

Not so good at pacing myself, no.

Anyone else loved World of Goo? I'm not sure the Goos are vegan but apparently they're delicious.

That is a great game. My girlfriend calls it the goo game. She would come over and always ask to play the goo game.

Now she just plays a ton of iphone games or Minecraft. You guys ever try Minecraft? That game is simple yet totally amazing. I have my own server running at home with our own world. Totally worth the 15 euros or whatever it is ($20).

If you guys like Goo it's worth checking out the Steam sale that's on at the moment. Along with the heavy hitters there are packs of indie games going cheap. I picked up Machinarium for a couple of pounds the other day.

Lots of guys playing Minecraft at work at the moment. I like what it does but it's not really my kind of game. I don't get much out of collecting and home-building in games.

Machinarium was a great game. Sometimes you just have to have some old school point and click. it told such a great story without ever using any words. Art was amazing, as well.

Oh, I loved Machinarium! Will definitely check out the Steam sale. Although now that I can actually work out again, maybe it's better if I keep off the games

I have the same experience with World of Goo: my brother came over all the time to play it! It's so original. And the physics is amazing. (My BSc thesis was on sticky fluids. I'm not biased at all.)

I read something about PETA doing a flash "Super Tofu Boy" game after guys involved in the game trolled their forum looking for a bit of publicity. Not sure about the exact story though.

I like the game, not that deep into it yet but I like what I've seen so far. The style, the retro jokes, the level replay showing all your attempts (always just one for me though obviously). Not been on my xbox much recently, apart from a little Ikaruga and playing around with XNA.
