Upbeat happy music?

I need suggestions please... music that is upbeat and happy without being irritating... suggestions please? :)

I love the band called 'The Weepies'.

Some of it is a bit mellow, but listening to it makes me happy :). Always puts me in a good mood. I listen to it sometimes when I run. Lets me zone out and just keep going.

Anything by the Polyphonic Spree. It always makes me happy. Their cover of Lithium is fantastic. :D

Or Noah and the Whale is also good.
Or Belle and Sebastian have quite a few happy songs.

I love everything by the Weepies except "I gotta have you", that was thoroughly ruined by a horrid bout of long-distance dating ;)

Dutch pride: "Run, Lenny, run". This is my interval running song, by now I know exactly how long each verse and chorus takes ;) Listen to the happiness first:



...and the meaning: it's about a father who tells his son to run when he misses his dad, and he will always feel the presence of his dad in the wind blowing in his face. Dad's probably about to die. Er. Does it still count as happy just because it sounds happy?

Otherwise:

Everything gets better when you add a fluorescent lawn and fake flowers.
