Another thing worth mentioning is that the ski pass is for the lifts only, for xc skiing you don't need a pass or anything like that.

not entirely true, in Vemdalen it's free but in Funäsdalen it costs €25 for one week.

Very reasonable. Would need to hire skis and boots though I think?

shouldn't we decide where (country: is everybody ok with sweden?) and when (dates: people have jobs and exams) first?
then will see how many people are interested and get organized for the trip and the rest.

As Sonic says, I am interested but would need to know location and time.

I can take care of coming up with a suggestion (time, place, cost etc) if people are ok with Sweden.

In Funäsdalen there are 121 slopes and about 8-10 funparks. There is also lots of off pist possibilities if you are interested in that sort of thing.

In Vemdalen there are also several funparks and 51 slopes + off pist riding.

So I think you will find what you are looking for in both places.

Thats what I couldnt find anything about.

Harrachov in Czech Republic seems like a nice place. Its on the border to Poland and close to Szklarska Poreba.

It has all difficulties and good Cross country loops.
I have never been there and of course its not a huge alpine area.
And with sweden beiing in the works, well, sweden has more pull.

alps and apennines! i'll be available after the first half of february. i've got two exams to prepare before that. i could find something in my area.

Apartments are for four people with kitchen. Option of getting bigger apartments if enough people are interested.
