I'm about to just start writing down the nutritional value of bars and rating them on taste or something but I'm in the US. Any bars that are specific to other countries that I could include on this?

has anyone tried these http://www.organicfoodbar.com/products/Protein ?

more protein than builders and non soy but more expensive seems like

I swear i've seen them around here somewhere (probably wholefoods or mothers market).

I really need to start making my own due to the fact i have more time than money. Bought 12 boxes of builders last time from here http://www.swimoutlet.com/Energy_Bars_s/505.htm after a lot searching on google and google shopping. Last time they gave a 10% discount or something on 12 boxes.

THERE ARE THREE NEW BUILDER FLAVORS!!

Crunchy Peanut Butter
S'mores
Chocolate Chip

My ratings?

PB 4 stars (very salty)
SM 4.5 stars (just like s'mores!)
CC 3.5 stars (too much like crappy Chips Ahoy)
Lovin' it!

How does the crunchy peanut butter flavour compare from the original chocolate PB flavour?

I am crazy jealous because I can only get plain choc, PB and mint flavours cheap in the UK - all the good ones didn't make the journey :(

Your best bet is making your own bars and I'm coming to that conclusion. My mom and I were actually thinking of potential recipes last night. The problem is finding ways for the powder to mix together and stay like that without making it too messy. Anything I want to add like honey would add too many calories and simple carbs as well.

And of course honey isnt vegan anyway. :)

Golden/Maple syrup works fine as well, and is vegan.

What's the problem with simple carbs?

crunchy peanut butter is tasty, it is salty but I don't think too much, and it has a white coating instead of chocolate. It seems like the same coating as the vanilla almond flavor. It's not quite as good as the original PB in my opinion, the coating doesn't go so well with peanut butter.

I agree on the chocolate chip, taste like bad cookies, slight chemical aftertaste, not terrible

haven't seen the smores ones yet

The link is dead what were the protein bars? I've been trying to find better protein bars because they're sometimes more convenient than protein shakes.
