spaghetti p.g.p.

Postby soniczip » Fri Sep 24, 2010 6:32 pm

for 1 person

what
- spaghetti
- e.v. olive oil
- garlic
- hot pepper powder
- pistachios

how
- mince 2 gloves of garlic
- mince a handful of pistachios
- pour cooked spaghetti on the colander and leave them there while preparing the rest
- while fire is on, pour e.v. olive oil on the same pot used for the spaghetti, until the base is fully covered
- pour the minced garlic plus some hot pepper powder, and cook until garlic is tender
- add the minced pistachios, and mix everything quickly (3 secs)
- add the spaghetti and mix quickly to avoid sticking them to the pot (5 secs), stop the fire
- serve, eat

warning
careful with the salt you put on water to cook the spaghetti. i put half of what i'm used to, because pistachios are salty, and hot pepper will add even more sharpness.
i'm focusing on some kind of stuff

Sounds like an awesome authentic Italian recipe. Will make it next week.
