Old broken bones

Postby Catt Queen » Fri Aug 27, 2010 8:31 am

I broke my hand over four years ago, now for some unknown reason it was suddenly bruised (since last weekend) and is getting more and more painful... not knocked it, not done anything to it. It was really bad over night :( Any ideas anyone? It'd make sense if I'd bumped it on something but if I'd hit it hard enough to cause the bruising I have now, then I'd certainly remember it.

Does it look bruised, or just feel bruised?

It actually looks bruised - wasn't sore at first, but started hurting a few days after the bruise appeared. It's been a week since the bruise suddenly appeared and now it's started to fade. Very odd!

Well if its actually showing bruising, that giles out what my GP always says to me- tendonitis. It is so easy to bruise yourself without remembering ever doing it, often my most painful wacks cause the least bruising and vice versa. Because of having brogen that hand only a few years ago I would just get it checked if it happens again.

Hope its feeling better now.
