Training wise this looks like a Crossfit type thing, but in stark contrast to the Crossfit paleo thing they promote a plant based diet

Good to see them promoting the benefits of a plant based diet for strength and health! There's an instructor at my gym who's vegan and my instructor is open to the vegan diet- I'm letting him know how good some of the Thrive diet recipes are so he can let his other clients know about them. Shame the monkey bar is only in the USA at the mo.

I've been corresponding with Henry Akins, one of the monkeybargym's founders good friends, who's a BJJ black belt. Definitely not a gym for strength proper, in fact its almost exclusively BW stuff...

Still a very welcome to the Crossfit/Paleo craze, as you mentioned. Their presentation is slick; hopefully they expand.

Definitely not a gym for strength proper, in fact its almost exclusively BW stuff...

Granted their target clientele is obviously not hardcore strength athletes, but the trainers themselves look pretty damn strong - the Australian dude is absolutely massive

Yeah I looked at a map of Aus as I'm unfamiliar with the country and thought it looked pretty well out of the way... and about as far from Melbourne as one could get.
