My name is The Duke and today I stopped eating and started living on light.

I am so happy.

I am on another level from the rest of you "Eaters".

So you won't be wanting to share any of my Indian take-away this evening then?

If you've got any food left over you no longer want, I'll have it.

Oh I'm sorry folksies.

I have no food left.

During my first Pranic meditation I entered a visionary, trancelike state from where the real truth of the universe was revealed to me.

While in this trance it became apparent to me that matter was energy and energy was matter. I directed my thoughts to the kitchen cupboard, focussed my will and sublimated all the food into pure energy.

The sufeit of quarks released is now food for you all.

All you have to do is accept my teachings and you will never feel hunger again.

Where do you get your protein from!

On a more serious note, what whiskey should we serve at your wake?

Dear Duke,

How are you coping with having to conserve your Inner Energy by not induging in wanton ejaculation?

Does this impinge significantly on your daily routine?

Who said anything about feeling confused?

Dear Duke,

I feel I must write to you again to express my deep-seated concern at your recent conversion to breatharianism.

I fear that this means that your frequent trips to the rareified atmospheres of the Himalaya will amount to little more than anorexia.

Yours,

Confused, of Clackmannanshire.
