The full range of Strength Shop belts have come down in price by about 15%. This was due to savings made with the suppliers, so we've passed it on. These really are great belts, I've never heard a bad word said about them, and they now offer even better value for money than before - http://www.strengthshop.co.uk/index.php ... lt&x=0&y=0

New ones also have Strength Shop embroidered on rather than printed on! Tasty!

It will see off all evil and pain providing you treat it as you would your child. No need for seatbelts with it, StrengthShop belts have been shown to be safer that standard seatbelts, and they make the crash test dummies look cooler too.

Sorry if this has been covered already but can these belts be used in competitions?

Check with the fed, but they're made to IPF spec. Only potential issue would be the log, and you can just put tape over it usually, though if it's a regional comp, it's more likely they'll not be worried.

Cheers for the info. Sorry another query:

Am currently a bit (ok a lot) of a fat knacker - 43" waist

Would I be ok with the 10mm buckle XL (34-40) or would it be better to go for the 13mm XL (34-42)?

Planning on losing the gut via cardio over the summer, so at some point will definitely be 40" or less.

That was just a fuck up by me. They're both 34"-42". Remember you measure round your belly, where the belt goes. It's nothing to do with the waist unless you plan on using it to hold up trousers :) If you're 43" round the belly, there's no point in getting an XL imo, better with an XXL. You want to ideally be in the middle of the size range, or roundabouts that.

Cheers again for the info buzz - meant 43" round the belly. Tempted by the lever though now, esp as the L goes down to 36". Anyone got any more lever v buckle opinions?
