I run the 3t ergo nova bars on my race bike which is also my touring bike when I slap on the bob trailer and aero bars.

What frame to ride? Get one with a good warranty so if it snaps, you get a free one and they get to design a better frame from having one being returned.

Im not sure where you are, but in Australia I get fitted by Steve Hogg and cant recommend him enough. Steve has customers from all over the globe come and visit him. Ask around for a shop near you that has an experienced bike fitter person. They are usually over 50 and not the young punk that just started 2 years ago and thinks they know what they are on about! :)

Bike fit is critical. Doesnt matter how bling, how light, how stiff our bike is, if it doesnt fit proper, it doesnt mean zipp. (no pun intended. :)

I agree. I know having an incorrectly fitted bike can lead to disastrous consequences - knee, wrist or spine injuries just to mention a few.

I am tempted just to get a shorter stem for the new bike. The only problem then is that my weight might be too far back, and the front end might feel twitchy...

If in doubt, get properly fitted out! :)

I was riding with a fellow club member the other day and they were on their Sworks Tarmac SL2 with sram red and all the bling and telling me about a sore knee and they hadnt even been fitted up proper before..
