I think it is pretty normal for the first part of the military press to be the hardest. Getting the correct barpath in, ie as close as possible to your face and pushing the head through as soon as the bars clears the head, will help though.

Oh, and I realize this is a late reply, just happened to stumble into your log and saw the question unanswered :) .

They oftenget confused by the fact that they are almost half protein themselves.

Glad you're feeling better.

Last time I tried: 57 times. 3-6 seconds between single lifts. Does this still qualify as one set?

Tried running today.
26:09 minutes for 6.4km. Warming up etc. are included in that time.
But actually, I am more excited about deadlifting tomorrow. I have a wonderful feeling in my back!

Cheers,
Fjodo

Registered for a HM in September! Look at the video in the bottom right corner of that site.
Shit. I never felt so much fear. :|

Increased my long run:
26.8km through the black forest hills on a wonderful, sunny Sunday morning! I took my father on his bike and the dog with me, so I had to run really slow. It was still really nice, though. Around 2h10, +- 5min.
Now it's food time.

Had a small recovery run of 6km at 5min/km. I still have giant blisters from Sunday's run. I call them Peter and Markus.
I am really desperate for finding some co-runner in my area. There are just one million walkers an half a million bikers. :(

Do you think I could possibly run a marathon in under 3:30 in five months? Getting such a wonderful time before my 18th would be really great - especially considering I am the worst in sports in my class, hehe!

Today's weather was horrible. Rainy, stormy, cold etc. So I ditched the long run
BUT instead I ran the stairs up and down for 30 minutes with my oh-so-short legs. Two floors 55 times up and 55 times down. That's worse than the long run.

Well, since I couldn't/didn't want to do the long run yesterday, I decided to make up for it this morning.
21.8km 1:31:14

And I don't even have any blisters thanks to my new socks! :D

Just got a perfect PB in the deadlift. 108.5 with flawless technique! And after 2 minutes of rest (I had to pee) I repeated it again. 110, I will get you soon!
I think I will need to get somebody to record it, though, so I can really judge the technique and posture.
