This is my new race bike after my bamboo calfee got stolen in Malaysia last year. I had this caad 9 frame from a shop I used to work and built it up from there. I havent race much in the last few years on the road but now Im focusing on a full race season here on the Gold Coast. They started me in C grade and I won with a 34km solo breakaway from a bunch of 32 riders. Now Im in B grade and got a 3rd and a 4th and if I get a win or a second in B grade, its back up to A grade. PS: the tyres are from a bin at a bike shop I used to work at. Michelin Pro Race. Its amazing what gets thrown out that is perfectly safe to ride. Handlebars, forks and stems are not something Id EVER forage for though..too much risk if something went wrong.

Yep they are xtr pedals as I have found no performance difference with a road pedal like a titanium keywin or something. I ride midfoot cleat position with custom made shoes with materials from Vegan Wares in Melbourne.

Picture I snapped of it the first day I rode it to the cafe this summer.
I'm going to put a new cockpit set up on it in a few weeks and normally it would have a disc in the back.

Integrated quill stem Vison bars, same ones Postal used to ride. I'm setting it up with a Scott Extreme bar to see how I like that though.

Snapped frame, going along a flat section of sealed road, after getting a part of was waiting 3 months for. Hopefully they'll honour this under the 'lifetime' warranty, which i think is two years, this happened about a month over that.

Yeah you don't see a lot of those bikes around KjK! But it looks really cool with those bars on I reckon.

Here's mine with my new wheels. Unfortunately been too buggered to test out the wheels up some of the hills properly, although they felt promising when I went up Evans pass into a big headwind in 10min flat So hopefully when a few niggles calm down I can test them out properly.

After snapping my frame last Sunday, I rushed out and bought a second hand Robin Mather custom built Rohloff specific 29er frame and some cheap and heavy gusset forks and put this together.



I've ordered some Nuke Proof carbon rigid forks which I want to get fitted by the weekend as I'm doing a 6 hour enduro.
I may regret riding fully rigid after 6 hours.
