Actually, I may have found something for you - socks consisting of an inner liner, VB layer and an outer layer all bonded into one. I can't find any mention of wool, seems to be a polyester/polypropylene thing. The company is a small one so they'd likely be happy to answer questions.

I've written quite a bit about looking after feet (including sweaty feet) in the field here, some of which may be less than irrelevant and not incorrect.
Is anyone of you climbers coming to the Vegan Fitness Week 2010 in August? The place is in Siebel, South Germany near Switzerland border. I looked from the map and got info from my Finnish friend that there are plenty of good rocks nearby. Also, there should be one of Europe's biggest indoor gyms somewhere near.
I do mostly sport climbing for moment, but as spring and summer come I'm going to train traditional climbing as well.
At the moment there aren't participating any other climbers besides me, so if I would get at least one other climber there, things would be much better!
