Leek Beers

Postby thestoatyone » Thu Feb 04, 2010 9:18 pm

Been really enjoying the Leek brewery beers here in the UK.

3 for £4 in ASDA atm, labelled as vegan, good range and v. tasty.

On the down side, the company that makes it also makes a big deal about their cheese making on their website, so linking wouldn't really be appropriate...

Oh god I thought this was going to be a thread about beers made from leeks... am relieved to see it's not

Unfortunately I don't like beer and don't really drink so I can't join in your enthusiasm but crack one open for me next time :)

"2 of your 5 a day!" "80g of Leeky goodness in every bar!"

Can't see it catching on!

I was kinda disappointed by that. Mainly as a professional leek muncher.

One of my favourite beers was made from seaweed though, didn't like the sound of it either, but it was rather good.

Thank you for putting this link up, I'm always looking for new bottled ales etc to sell in my vegan shop now that we have gone into selling alcohol awell.
I like finding unusual bottled drinks to add to our growing collection, esp ones that are labelled Vegan too.
Thanks again , will be contacted them .
