I'm looking for a protean source that i can cook into cake, flapjack etc etc, so i can make home made these -
http://www.vegansportshop.co.uk/index.p ... e-bar.html
for example (although i do plan to order some of these for my training camp in spain)
so any ideas? the protean powder i usually buy from holland and barrats says that it needs to be consumed within 30 min's of mixing
cheers!

Just moved this to a more relevant part of the forum.
As far as a protein source I often use plain pea protein in cooking recipes. I've used it in protein bars, cookies, and I've spoken to people who've used it in pancakes. I don't know anything about this consuming within 30 minutes business though...

Isn't that just because otherwise it would settle out of the liquid? So you would probably just end up with a solid lump of it at the bottom of the drink.
Whereas if its in cake / flapjack / other solid stuff it will stay where it is.

Within 8 hours of mixing sounds a bit more reasonable...
Lovin' it!
