Please contact Subway to ask them:

1. Is their Veggie Patty vegan? (Even if you hate the place, the more people who ask, the greater the perceived demand will be if it isn't vegan).

2. To introduce a hummous option so that we can get hummous and salad sandwiches there. Point out that many vegetarians don't eat cheese, so they are missing out on a segment of the market.

Costa Coffee shops/kiosks
Please ask them to clarify whether their hot chocolate with soya milk is vegan, as people are being told conflicting things in outlets.

Co-op Supermarkets Please complain about them vastly reducing their range of vegan products in recent years. It might be an idea to comment favourably on their large range of vegan, non-animal tested cosmetics and household products at the same time:

Tesco Supermarkets

I'm told they don't accept email or online queries, and sure enough their website does not have a comments form or email address. Does anybody know differently?

I e-mailed 'customer.services@tesco.co.uk' some time ago about vegan products, and got this:

Hey fox,

if possible, could you collate all to the first post so it would be a nice up to date list of current issues? Much like the strength/running tables, list of vegan athletes etc work. And if any updates, post to the thread so it jumps up again to everyone to see.

Then there are more general contact details for things which dont have a "campaign" or a single product/ingredient which we want changing.

Obviously, updates, additions and personal experiences with company contact details are relevant here.

Mmm, yeah that does sound a bit duff. Still better than Morrisons by a country mile-short-jog-and-a-long-spit.

Have we just given up on them? They are from Bradford, where tripe is classed as a vegetable...

This doesn't appear to be run by vegans, but their whole range is marked as suitable for vegetarians and vegans, with the single exception of the harris tweed scarf:

Emailed Costa the other day as it has been bothering me that they have so many items which could easily be vegan (granola bars, flapjacks) but aren't. I can deal with a cheese and ham sandwich not being vegan, I find it hard to swallow granola bars not being.

Got this reply today:
