for me, accessibility should be key; non-vegans aren't gunna be interested in investing a lot of time to prove themselves wrong. I would therefore choose Mike Mahler and Robert Cheeke; there is ton's of stuff about them on the net and anyone signposted in their direction would soon come across a wealth of good info and positive rolemodels.

Oh yeah; sorry, forgot to check!

I'd say that'd do, unless you wanna throw Avi/Deavman in for the "fucking hell!" factor...

Just saw this, not sure if it's already on here

4 time NBA champ John Salley is vegan, and has his own line of foods.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Salley#Personal_life

EDIT - I need to read the first page more closely he's already there
Arf! Arf! Grrrr! Arf!

what about vf's own veganjosh for the strength category? he's lifted some truly massive weights in competition for his sub 67.5kg weight

I've added a news section, which I would like to update, so anything you hear about the elite folk, please let me know.

I'm very open to the ideas, but also keen to maintain elite status. Has VeganJosh acheived any titles or records?

Just about to check the link for Joel Kirkilis....

I think you should move the MTBer from "Skills" to "Athletics and endurance", MTBing is definitely an endurance sport (together with road racing and cyclocross).

From the reviews, quoting the top foods:
10. Wild salmon [and lower on the food chain with less mercury, sardines]

Also this article:

http://www.usatoday.com/sports/football/nfl/falcons/2009-08-25-gonzalez_N.htm

Because he eats fish and occasionally has organic chicken, Gonzalez isn't a true vegetarian. He's a flexitarian who views vegetables as the main course. He says he often cooks for his family, because, well, his wife Tobie is "quasi on-board."
