Biked about 7 miles in total. Errands and calls after work shortened trail time but still worked it in.

40 min on elliptical
30 reps @ 20 lbs for weights - upper arms

Biked 2 miles for errands

Thurs Sept 3

Breakfast - toasted bagel with Sheese garlic and herb cheese - ~300

Mid-morning - Luna bar (chocolate peppermint) - 180

Lunch - grilled veggie wheat wrap with hummus and avocado - ~300

Mid-afternoon - Cliff bar, chocolate brownie - 240

Dinner - hummus plate, beer, couple of fries and onion rings (o woe) - ~450

Exercise - 35 min elliptical, then 45 min elliptical after dinner

I already know that beyond a food log, this day will be a wash. Why? A wedding reception filled with vegan Italian food, and no time in between work, it, and after to exercise.

Le sigh.

Breakfast - strawberry soy yogurt - 160

Mid morning - Luna bar - 180

Lunch - grilled veggie wheat wrap with hummus and avocado - ~300

Saving myself up for dinner, which is bound to include all sorts of good food and wine. But will be trying to take it easy!!

Oh and one question, you biked 20 miles and then a minute later you did another 7 miles! thats some going! :wink:

:D Well, next day...not next minute...but yeah! There's a biking trail near me that's ten miles to the end and ten back. Was my first real long distance biking and enjoyed it immensely. Goal is to be able to do that on a regular basis so I can bike to work, which is ten miles down the trail to the place and another ten back.

Breakfast - strawberry soy yogurt

Lunch - pasta! lots of leftovers from wedding reception

Mid-afternoon - Luna bar

Dinner - vegan nacho cheese over some tortilla chips, baby carrots, and some veggie stir fry over noodles, 2 glasses of wine

Exercise - biked 18 miles

4 bottles of water is the MIN of what I need to bike, apparently. That's not including any other water I drink during the day.

Sunday Sept 6

Breakfast - toasted bagel with Sheese garlic and herb cream cheese (I'm addicted to this stuff OM NOM NOM) ~400

Lunch - Cliff bar - 250

Mid-afternoon - Luna bar - 180

Dinner - two vegan veggie cheeseburgers, chips and dip. It was a carnivore fest and were it not for what I brought I would've starved. - ~500

Exercise - 20 miles on the trail, another 2 to the grocery store, then 3 to my friend's BBQ party. 25 in total. *falls down*

Yup! Thirsty work, especially in warm summer weather. It's on a trail that's mostly uphill, levels out a bit, has some downhill and uphill. The reverse is all uphill with some plateaus, then lots of downhill towards the end. It's fabulous exercise though! And a gorgeous view, beautiful biking area.

Yeh I must admit I drink lots when I do get around to going out on my beloved Trek! I sweat like a beast :shock:

I get dehydrated easily besides so I'd rather make sure I drink plenty. I know my body needs it because I'm typically out for 3-4 hours at a time and don't need to hit the restroom.
