Thought I would revive this thread !
Well, I have done no rowing for over a year, and no cycling for over ten weeks, apart from the odd gentle spin. So I am VERY unfit indeed.
Thought I would have a bash at the rowing machine, as its safer in the house, and 'you know who' can't try to kill me again !
Bit of a warm up, then had a go at 500m. Seemed the easiest option.
So not too bad really. Residue core strength, I guess. Was breathing like an old man on woodbines !
Give me a few weeks, and I will hopefully be faster. Fastest was 1.35, for the first 100m. But can't imagine ever going faster than that, even when fit.
I am just a little guy !
