I have a Polish housemate who is vegetarian. He recently returned from a trip to Poland with an enormous box of Kotlety sojowe...they are similar to the soy 'chicken' we had at the Stokholm gathering...
These babies are 50% protein...

I ate my own bodyweight in that stuff every week when I was in Poland, also found it quite widely available in Lithuania.

It's not stored in the fridge. It is dry and you rehydrate it with stock before frying it...

there's some products like that here in the USA. used to eat a lot of those similar products. but I try to stay away from processed foods.
now if you can find some Perogi's, thats where its at!
