I would definetly use the free bar for your squats. Maybe see if there is a 10kg barbell lying about and start with that. There are much better as they work in 3 planes of movenment and more fully load the legs etc.
It's funny the weightlifting culture and females that i see in my gym. If they are doing weights they automatically go for the silver metal dumbells rather than the plated ones. Then with really light dumbells they start exercising while looking in the mirror. You really don't need to check form when you are doing 1108reps of an exercise!! And there is no way that you are going to get stronger doing it.
It just shows how people can be affected by gender culture and how useless it is.

Dianski, really glad that you gave us a score for your deadlift - which is a great deadlift. What exercise do you feel most comfortable doing? You may be able to go a bit heavier on this after a while?
Of course Jonathan has gone up on his deadlift again! 170kg - that's a weight that i don't like lifting. You are going to do well at the vegan fitness strongman event!
Buzz - taken over Willpeavy again. So you seem to be doing well with your squats. Let's see if you can get another before Feb? That deadlift is inches off of 120kg too. That's exciting!
