French-NZ relations are a bit strained at the mo, so I thought I'd do my part to help out! :P Always been a fan of those three for some reason - especially Chavanel - he's always good for a couple of suicide breakaways. I am still searching for the new Durand.

I'm hoping he decides to get more aggressive! Getting a bit worried now tho.

What a boring stage today tho, except for the break. Why didn't anyone do anything in the mtns???

Cor big thighs and tight spandex...

Oh wait, you didn't mean *that* kind of fantasy....

I've found it exciting this year 'cos I'm rooting for Cav. I think Lance is going to come out from behind the pack in the Alps and try to dominate when everyone else is knackered.

Plus Bradley Wiggins is up to 4th and in the best shape of his life, so there's plenty to keep me interested. I will agree that the mountains so far have been a little staid. I'm sure the Alps will liven things up.

ETA: Plus you can follow a lot of the riders on Twitter. ITV's coverage tweets stage updates @itvtdf plus there's @bradwiggins and various other riders on Bradley's and ITV's following lists. Lance posted a shot of Levi yesterday with his wrist in a sling:

i've been glued to it. armstrong likes cavendish for a fifth stage win today, and he's been right on the money with all his predictions this year.
i was impressed with hushovd yesterday, real class to take 15 points on a climber's stage. though maybe columbia were so confident for today, they let him go
