HEY! why didn't you say you were in Stockholm? :(

You know I live just 15 minutes walk from where you spend your weekend? Could have treated you to a home made vegan meal instead of the festival food ;)

Interesting line-up. Any favourites? I'd quite like to see Fever Ray live.

It was quite a hectic weekend running around between stores trying to get some last minute stuff before the vacation. But we did manage to get a lunch at the famous Lao Wai.

Home made vegan meal would be a great step up from the festival food :) Will take you up on the offer next time.

I hadn't really listened to her (them?) more then the singles played on the radio but the show was great. And I think the fact that it was really bad weather actually made it better.

Otherwise I really enjoyed seeing Neil Young for the first time. Pixies and Seasick Steve were on to big scenes compared to the audience, Duffy just felt like a to rehearsed show and Noise conspiracy should really quit now. Matching scene clothes is not OK. Never.

Sweden rock festival: ZZ-TOP, Twisted sister, Floging Molly, the Johnny Winter band, Candlemass, Immortal, Heaven and Hell... etc..

A little to good line up this year I even missed motör head, In flames and Europe due to other bands I wanted to see..

A bit to cold and crappy sound on heaven and hell though :( But ZZ-Top and Twisted sister were amazing, my god they still rock hard

Tracy Chapman playing at the Marque in Cork.

She is a legend, when she came on stage you could see from here smile that she was really happy to be playing for us. The whole show Tracy beamed sincerity.

RIGHT!!!!

TERROR finally played in belgrade!!!

AND THEY ROCKED!!!!

Bare in mind that even after what I am about to type, I still consider this gig to be THE BEST SHOW I have been to for A VERY LONG TIME.

#1:

NO GIRLS!!!!!

Seriously! There were more androgenous teenagers then girls! Not even the mortal kombatcore, khm, persons showed up.

I know that terror has sort of a tough guy band rep, but come onn!!!!!

#2:

Bunch of w*nkers showed up as well. I guess if your band's name is fscking TERROR and not Amargoth G'norand or some other shit elven name it is bound to attract boneheads. Boneheads, who obviously realised that they shurely made a mishtake when Vogel gave his obligatory "fuck nazis" speech.

#3:

brotherhood, motherhood, sisterhood, fatherhood, neighbourhood, childhood, unity, blabla who cares.

Not as bad as 25taLife, but still provoking my "jeebus fucking chryst, will you ever grow up?!" reaction.

#4:

NO AIR.

It reminded me so much of the BJJ dojo in belgrade where 50 sweaty young men trapped in a tiny room work their hardest to generate as much kinetic energy as possible while fighting the laws of physics by trying not to pass out due to the lack of oxygen.

---

That's it, no more complaints. It was fscking awesome!!! We stagedived a fucking lot, caused fights (all friendly), moshed like it's the last show in the universe and had the time of our lives.

LONG LIVE BANDS LIKE TERROR.
Next time, I'll spend the money on drugs instead.
