That is a good start. some of us have been training them so have a distinct advantage. Also having someone competing against you can easily give you an extra minute I reckon. So find a little hottie to get down on the ground with you and kick his ass!

I was doing a bit less than that when I started doing them - keep trying and you'll improve.

SHOE ON HEAD OR IT DIDN'T HAPPEN!

I swears it's true. You're not far behind, Dave, do I sense a challenge coming? Would a photograph of a plank convince you?

I'm not sure if there's much point doing a plank for a long period though. Do other people put weights on their back?

I'm glad there's finally a challenge I don't fail at.

Not nearly the number you guys have been posting, but I got a solid 3 minutes 15 seconds yesterday at the gym. I'll have to try again fresh and beat you all!

I know a guy who can do 12 minutes... I had time to have a chat with a mutual friend, go get changed, come back to finish off the chat and he was still going. As if that wasn't bad enough, he justified his motivation as needing to beat his friend's mum who can do 16 minutes. Makes me sick.

I think the most I've ever managed when I was doing regular ab+core work was 3 or 3:30 but looks like I'll just have to start training again so I can get my name in at least one of these Vegan Fitness tables... And the pushup challenge is so not happening here so I don't really have a choice

Okay, I tried what I think is a spider plank: 1:30, and then I lost it.

(Do I get extra points for doing this at 2:06 am after being out all evening?)
