OLYMPIC SPORTS GYM

Dungeon crew visits Olympic Sports Gym! Awesome stuff, Traps, Milsy, Shawn greeted by the hosts Gaz and Fat Joe.

I went in feeling tired and run down, but picked up some effort at least to get some work in.

Small log press from blocks
5x50
3x70
2x80
1x90
then wrestling with the 97.5 big log, but was too weak to nail it.

Farmers
10m x 50
10m x 50
10m x 80
10m x 80
10m x 100
10m x 110
10m x 110

Farmers holds
120s for 18 secs

Tire flip
single
single
triple

tire flip is so much fun! One of my fav events, need to get good at it now.

I agree :)

Nice farmers and farmers holds - what's your PR for holding the 120s?

there is the old JP and the new JP, the all time PB must be a minute or so, who knows. Have held 160s for close to 30 seconds - grip used to be ok, but since the injury its all starting from a clean table mate. It is now weak, very weak...

I wish i could get back to this strength it would do as the first goal...

aye man, and they are monsters

Couple days off due to just not having many days off lately :)

Yesterday went with the u90 northern qualifiers - great show, great individual performances and higher than expected quality IMO.

Today:

OLYMPIC SPORTS GYM

Joined the Oly boys sunday session, great stuff. Too bad logistical problems prevented tire flip, but it will be taken out next sunday.

Small log
5x50
5x50
3x60
2x70
1x80
1x90

Big log
f,f,f,f,f,f....
1x97.5 - finally
all just in the head, scared of it like a wee boy that i am.

Deadlifts
5x70
3x120
2x170
2x200
3x200

carry & drag medley
20m x 90 farmers, 20m x 135kg on tire drag
awesome training, drag was just the right weight with failing few metres before the finishing line and had to wrestle with it.

Farmers holds
120kg cylinders x 20 seconds

Yesterday:

3 hr walk in the peak district. Solid walk, nice setting.

Today:

SUGDEN CENTRE

good stuff, nailed 30 mins of crosstrainer intervals, some rehab, rows and guns, and of course YOGA! Yoga was pretty hardcore today with tons of shoulder work.

Olympic sports gym tomorrow, and some clean & jerk should be in order...

legs pretty shot today. could it be from yesterdays pitiful squatting? maybe so, or accumulative, anyway, feeling stiff :D

Wee bit of cardio, 17 mins on cross trainer, pressing (up to 3x3x60) and rehab/shoulder stuff.

now rest and feeding till sundays big session - cant wait!
