Thats insane !

But with the rise of fundamentalism, this sort of thing could become more common. There are still witch hunts in the UK. Pagan bookshops being firebombed etc. People losing their jobs.

There would have been an easy well to tell if you were a witch...without needing the courts. As Emm says...we just needed to weigh you. If you weighed the same as a duck......case closed !

Anyone got a duck ?

This thread is becoming stupid. Burning people because they weigh the same as a goose?! They have to be weighed against a duck.

Actually, now I've put my glasses on it's a Bewick's Swan (neck is too short for a Whooper I think, and the beak is a bit short, but I'm open to correction).

well I thought you guys wanted to see us BURN A WITCH and with this swan it's bigger than a duck you see so there's more chance of us getting to see a BURNING..........
it's the same colour as a duck and it floats in water........
so it must be made of wood, just like a duck, and a WITCH, right?

Isn't this just typical ?

This is how religions and ideologies get twisted around ! We all knew where we were with the duck.....now we have a goose faction, and a swan cult !

Moving the goalposts, I reckon. Those that pass the duck test could fail the goose test. And the the Swan cult will go after them too ! Seasiren has no chance now.

We may as well buy the petrol and matches ! :shock:
