Bring more quality to my workouts
Rehab shoulder & groin problems, increase flexibilty
Make running a habit
Get out on the bike more
Compete in a triathlon/adventure race
Move into midfield for my football team
Not set a climbing goal yet, but there will be one. Will have to see how the shoulder responds to the return to the wall.

I think someone hacked my account :?

LOL! Good example of how random just one moment in a year to set goals for whole of that year is :D

Someone definitely hacked mine...Christ Almighty, what on earth was I thinking?

Ok not long to go in the year, how about we forget the crazy shit that is said with the whole year approaching and have a think about what training is going to bring for the rest of the year. Kind of like buzz's crazy "goals for November" thread, but with a bit more calendrical significance.

I am pretty much abandoning this week due to a bit of a stomach bug, but going to squat tonight and bench tomorrow. No plans, just see how strength is. Would like to nail PBs next week before going to Germany though.

December will pretty much depend on how Germany goes, if I can avoid injury.

So I'll shoot for:

220 squat, 155 bench, 272.5 deadlift, 125kg overhead, 125kg clean.

Anyone else?

Hmm, so many goal threads, so much crack to smoke...

Due to the fact that after next week, I won't max again til 09. Rather than just not stating numbers, I reckon if i have a crazy last week of 08 max out session i could hit;

215 deadlift
180 squat
130 bench
105 overhead

that'd do. Wee gains, but would mean gains on all the big lifts this year, which 6 months ago i thought was a crack pipe lsd induced fantasy. More in the fronties too, maybe 137.5 :)

Log Press 225 lbs

Strict Press 175 lbs

Umm... I got the log press. I thought I had the squat, until rechecking this thread - I'm 5 pounds short. Farmer's I'll have a go at tomorrow, but I already know I'm not there yet. Deadlift is close...Strict Press is a ways off still.

I'm at a 20% success rate so far.

Made the 345lb squat, got the 500lb deadlift... made some progress towards the farmers and strict press, but it looks like I'll end the year with 3 out of 5.
