sounds like you had a great weekend, bummed to having missed it. both cycling and seeing spug's beard, if possible I guess he's more handsome than ever now :)

Twas a gr8 weekend and yes I'll be posting here more i promise! Saying nice things about my cooking just makes me want to cook more and more. I like the way you cut parsnips Abi - I'm always going to do them like that now.

Time for some dancing tonight methinks. Hey does Vegan Fitness run to clubbing?

It's lazy chopping! :-) I like it chunky.

Where do you go clubbing? I don't go quite as regularly as I used to, but there's a club in Clapham Junction I am fond of.

I don't go often enough to have a club I'm fond of - so let's try yours!

Oh there is one called Zoo off Leicester Square that is good as long as you go as a group (to avoid pushy types). Maybe a new thread required. In the New Year good for you? We're pretty chokka till then.

Non-vegans

Postby StevieP » Fri Oct 17, 2008 8:18 am

There was 1 vegetarian and 2 meat-eaters on the ride. All knew and stuck to the vegan food rule and no-stupid meat/cheese eating jokes were made - so good.

But more generally, how did you feel about having non-vegans around? Did it detract from the experience or did you see at as an opportunity to show non-vegans that their nothing that odd about being one of us?

Yep yep yep - new thread it! December could also be a goer.
Clapham Grand (right by Clapham Junction) is my favourite - easy for you and me to get to too. You are also welcome to stay at my house, of course.

I don't mind as long as they're slower than me. :P

I knew BGW wasn't a vegan!

How did you bust him?

I think it was good to have them along, it can only influence them positively.
