I can play piano/keyboards but mostly just like to compose/program music electronically/virtually as in my sig. Gothic/industrial/a little bit of various other things.

Would be nice to learn some little instrument that I could carry around with me. I'm looking into what that would be... don't think I want to do guitar...

I play the clarinet and use to play the alto and soprano recorder. Still like the alto best, but it's fun to play in windbands too.

Guitar player for 6 years now. Been drumming for 2 years. Played the upright bass with a bow in high school band. That was interesting because I had to teach myself to sight read music in a month. I had no formal training on the bass either.

Bass has become my main instrument although it's my second. Among other things I've played the electric bass in an extreme metal band. That band is on a break right now while the guitarist grows up. I miss playing shows though. I also sing and play bass for a punk band and provided a few screams in the metal band.

I've been told I "shred" bass at every gig we've played, and in music stores whenever I try out a bass someone compliments my playing and the salespeople take me very seriously. They sure aren't helping my ego any 8). I'm a tad cocky but I guess that's what it takes to get on stage and play like a maniac. I had to be this way because the guitarist was the screamer and an introverted guy, and the drummer is back hiding behind his kit. That left me in the spotlight to get the crowd going.

So far the biggest crowd I've played in front of was probably a couple hundred. I really want to get more than that though.

I pay a little Guitar, used to be awesome on bass but through laziness have lost a lot of my talent. I'm also a metal singer/growler so I'm just working on getting my vocals up to scratch.
Please check out my blog, and my latest ramblings on milk, soap and glory and animal testing, Thanks!
