solid report from a solid week, but maybe too many references to being tired and too few into how much food you ate.

Did you weigh yourself? :D

You forgot the firdays bench pressing

Random training for easing back into it.
Powercleans felt pretty ok. Jerks were a disaster no positioning whatsoever in the split.

Powerclean from blocks:
60kg: 1x3, 70kg: 3x3
Powersnatch from blocks:
50kg: 3x3
Jerks:
60kg: 1x2
Push press:
70kg: 4x2
Back extensions:
10kg: 1x15, 20kg: 1x10, 30kg: 1x10

The weight. Gives a higher starting positions, good for people too lazy to pull from the floor. Also useful for training the second pull and such.

ANyway, tonights training.
Met an old friend from school whos into olympic lifting at the gym. Appearantly he has started training there, which is good cause it means I could get some tips and advice and such. Training wasnt too bad, snatches quite ok, jerks not too bad. Legs felt really weak though, but that should be easy to fix. In theory :) .

Snatches:
40kg: 1x3, 50kg: 1x3, 60kg: 3x3, 65kg: 1x2, 70kg: 1x2
Jerks:
40kg: 2x3, 50kg: 1x3, 60kg: 1x2, 70kg: 1x1, 80kg: 3x1
Some random stuff for core and rotatorcuff. Guess I should log it more in detail.

Also I met the club coach this morning, and he told me there is the district championships in one month, insinuating that I should compete I think. Have to think about that, I'm sure I'll come last but it could still be fun.

yes, devising a pre-competition nutritional plan takes time.

True, optimal amount of falafel must be calculated! Plus I would also want my lifting to be in a decent state.

Jerks from rack:
60kg: 1x2, 75kg: 1x2, 85kg: 1x1, 90kg: 2x1, 95kg: 1x1
Front squats:
90kg: 1x5, 1x4, 1x3+1f (WTF!)

Clean day. Hang cleans felt ok, except my knees didnt like them much for whatever reason. Repping strength on pushpresses really bad, considering if an improvement would be good. Front squats not quite as weak as expected.

Cleans from below knees:
50kg: 1x3, 60kg: 1x3, 70kg: 2x3
Front squats:
80kg: 1x5, 90kg: 5x3
Push press:
50kg: 1x3, 60kg: 1x3, 70kg: 4x2(+1f somewhere), 1x1+1f
Some wrist and core work.

Snatch night.

85kg is there. Failed to lift it but it is there. Jerks kind of ok, front squats weak but on track. Played with a 32kg kettlebell I found at the gym and started considering buying a lighter one for warmup and fun.
Did more trashtalking than usual about all kinds of subjects not related to lifting, including but not limited to: getting ripped off by used carsellers, going to the dentist, what a fucking monster Bob Sapp is, how unpleasant it has to be to be kicked by Crocop etc etc. Think it was trashtalk PB :D !

Snatch:
40kg: 1x3, 50kg: 1x3, 60kg: 1x3, 70kg: 1x2, 75kg: 1xf, 1x1, 80kg: 1x1, 85kg: 2xf
Jerks:
50kg: 1x3, 60kg: 1x3, 70kg: 1x2, 80kg: 1x2, 90kg: 3x1
Front squats:
80kg: 2x5, 100kg: 1x3
KB snatch:
32kg: 2x1
KB C&J:
32kg: 1x1

Yeah, and then I'll just sit back and wait until the C&J is ditched from olympic lifting like the C&P was ditched in 74 :D .
But actually I think jerk is as good as ever, and on the rise :) .
