I want to host a strength gathering at my place.
The main idea is to bring the forum members together for training, eating and having fun

The Hall has weights for beginners and strong strongmen alike, so everyone is welcome, whether you want to try strongman stuff for the first time or show the other forum strength athletes how much you've improved since the last meet up

Apart from the training and competing in The Hall, there will obviously be much hanging around, trash talk and vegan food. Trips to the water park /thermal bath, high wire garden and veg restaurants are possible.
The main event will be on a weekend, but it will be possible for you to stay longer before and/or after. As i said, i'll take a week off from work, but of course, every forum member is always welcome to stay at my house any time!
We will have a friendly strongman competition, but only if enough people are up for it. Maybe a challenge for beginners/non-strongman athletes and another one for strength athletes. I'll think on it and am open for suggestions.
These are the events as planned at the moment. Please give me feedback on them! I will edit the events here every time they change (for example when i get new equipment

- Two classes: Superheroes and Sidekicks (Beginners and Heavyweights if you insist)
Possible Superhero class events:
- Medley: 120kg Farmer's Walk 15m plus 3 tyre flips. 90sec time limit.
- Log for max weight.
- Yoke around 280kg for 25m.
- Atlas Stones 80-150kg.
- Husafeld stone approx. 100kg max. distance (turns every 15m).
- Loading race, 3 barrels 90, 110, 120kg for ~10m and load onto ~120cm platform, then 180kg block for 10m, loading onto 2 pallets.
I would like to have some kind of dragging as well.
Sidekick class events:
- 60kg Farmer's Walk for max distance (turns every 15m).
- Small Tyre flip max reps in 2min.
- Husafeld stone approx. 55kg for max. distance (turns every 15m).
- 35kg log for reps, floor to overhead, time limit 2min.
The sidekick events should be doable by a wide range of people, they focus on endurance rather than max strength. To perform well you need to be quite fit, but even if you're not, you can still move the weights.
Looking forward to meet you all,
Kryptonite V
