I think you might be under/over estimating yourself there? Bring out the big guns!

I gave this a go after some rowing training today.

I did 12 burpees in 36 seconds before gassing.

Chalk it up.

I reckon I could put out maybe 20 without stopping and post a more competitive time..
After that its all heart pounding, lots of sweating and not many productive burpees...

Which can be fun, but not if your by yourself.

ssshhhh, i'm working on something big ;)

here's a hint for the lot of you: if you're doing pushup burpees you dont have a lot of time to breathe because you have to hold your breath for the pushup, right? so you crap out too fast because you run out of oxigen.

right from the start you have to drive your breathing into overdrive and use every moment you can to double, or triple breathe. that should take you over 20 before the first time you crap out.

then it's rough until 35, after that it should be smooth sailing to fiddy.

that is, if you dont attempt to leapfrog to the moon with every squatjump.
Next time, I'll spend the money on drugs instead.

wow, that one flew over my head until just now....

i think that's how i did it, 20 straight, short rest, 10, 10, 6 and 4 or something like that.

it's not easy, but i guess that's why it's Ross Enamaits favourite conditioning exercise. What a psycho!

4:54 - these are hard! First ten were easy, I didn't know what the heck you all were talking about, then the sets of 4-5 at a time started...ugh, just glad it's over :)

Sherdog has a 100 burpees challenge. The top time for under 200lb members is 5:12. Over 200lbs is 6:45. Come on Vegans represent!

Bleh...these are awful with the pushups in there.. Give us cyclists a break, how about we do 'em without the pushup? ;)

Did 50 today in 4:07. Blimey it was hard! Not sure if there's much room for improvement in there although 4 mins would be a target for next time.
