you can never count out randy, but i have to think age & power are on fedor's side, and probably overall skill. but would be a big payday for them anyhow.

Randy would have to try and lay and pray Fedor. That's his only chance of winning I think. Fedor is fast and powerful and his judo/sambo and submission skills are better than Randy's wrestling and ground and pound.

i do not understand how people think Couture is in the same league as Fedor. Randy has lost 2 of his last 5 fights that included getting KO'd twice by Liddell. he is only 16-8 overall and people want to call him the best of all time? obviously he is a good fighter, but you should have to win more than 2 fights to be considered the best in the game.

Judo throw
Ground and pound

C'mon guys, it's a win over Tim Sylvia. Hardly cements your greatness regardless of how quickly it happens.

Fedor still has plenty to prove in my opinion. Not as the best heavyweight at the moment as I think that's clear. But to call him the greatest (or even P4P #1) his level of opposition must be better. Hong-man Choi, middleweight Linland and Mark Coleman just don't cut it.

Syliva = big lumbering oaf (fe fi fo fum springs to mind)
Irvine = Dangerous dynamic striker
And Anderson made him look awful, bulk him up a bit (he says he walks at 215) and I think he'd tear Fedor a new one

Catching a kick to me hardly seems like a sign of a world class fighter. I'm not disputing Silva's skill or contention as top in the world, but comparing Silva > Irvine to Fedor > Sylvia is a bit off, IMO.
