Did first session last night. Was little rusty but breakfalls still work.

XkillerX its really great Martial Art and really effective in real life.
For example once in a Club some guy started pushing me trying to get me into I a fight. I simply put him in a wrist lock and took him to the floor. Totally defused the situation and no one got hurt.
Any other Martial Art he probably would have ended up with a broken nose.

Shame you are leaving the running and going over to the dark side.

You were really improving as well. You not fancy going for a sub 3.25 next?

Oh well, good luck with it anyway.

Long term goal is to do an ironman in about 5 years time. So every year Ill do a marathon and when I have the money and places to train Ill up the cycling and swimming until then I am going to work on my beach body base :)

I have entered the ballot for next years London marathon, which Ill aim for a sub 3:30 if I get in. I am still young at 26 for marathons so do not want to kill my knees, I can already feel them taking strain from this training.

Im my head this is the plan, but it will vary according to where I live and what happens in my life..

2009: London Marathon
2010: Comrades Marathon
2011: Puffer
2012: Robben Island swim
2013: Iron Man

Yeah, there's going to be a fight over 10k times, me, Erske - where are you?

Edit: We posted at the same time. But my threat remains, when I have taken your 10second PB advantage from you at 10k, will you try to take it back?

My money is on Papaya.

When you are 85kg you might look good on the beach but you won't be running very fast

Brave man!

if you continue to do some running your gains might be of better "quality", as in less fat and just gains in muscle. If you look at guys who look really big like kryptionite V he only weighs as much as my legs, its all about illusion of being big and muscular :D Even deavman is only 90kg!!!

Lower the bodyfat = better you will look on the beach 8) So in that sense might not be the best strategy to go all out on the bulk - unless you are like me and find the fat powerlifter/strongman look incredibly fetching

Monday Morning
