Unfortunately I am sick and fear that will have an impressive impact on my lifts, but I'm hoping I can tough it out and post some new PR's during the competition. Mind over matter! Woot!

Thanks for the encouragement!

Well, you can never make a mistake; only a choice! :)

Choose to psyche yourself up, not out!

& Have a good time!

wishing you all nothing but the best and the heaviest. too bad you don't have "team vegan" shirts: nothing beats a mass psychological advantage.

Thanks everybody. My excuse beforehand is that I just realized my bench grip is probably illegally wide. But otherwise I feel really good and expect to break my short term PR's.

So I'm back home and have some pictures to share of J, VeganEssentials and Sensless :D . The meet was fantastic! All three did an outstanding job, looking great in their wrestling singlets ;) .

First, here's all three afterwards, J and Ryan with their trophies :D :

so we have third party confirmation that J is a real person. sometimes i wondered whether or not he was just an array of mainframes programmed in SASSY for a modern day turing test. a little OTT, i know i know.

If you'll notice the slanted wood stripping in the background, you can get an idea of what a behemoth I actually am.

But seriously (and please don't be offended John) we can see here that John has a very big head. It has been observed that the bigger the head, the stronger the person. The guy who got a 2050 had a watermellon for a head. So this suggests that I'll never be the lifter that John is. But with intelligence and dilligence maybe I'll do OK. But I'm not going to beat myself up if I don't too far.

On the other hand maybe your head just gets bigger as you get stronger... I don't really know.
