That recipe above looks good, I haven't tried exactly that but have made something up myself, which was similar. Lentil Dahl is always good as well, recipe might go something like this:

Good with rice or quinoa, but let's not go overboard with the quinoa.

not to be a dipshit, but what kind of lentils did you buy?
there's a lot of varieties.

soup, pasta sauce, burgers, pie filling, anything you want, they are awesome!

Make tarka dhal with them and have some chapattis to dip in to it
NB don't add salt or stock until they're completely cooked or they won't soften.

I made some dope lentil-rice balls for pasta the other week. I believe it was something to the effect of: a cup of rend lentils, 1/2 a cup of wild rice (or brown rice), some pasta-type herbs, a little gluten flour to keep it all together (a couple tblsps), garlic, onion. Then bake it all in an oven with some oil (to make it crispy).

I didn't eat it with pasta, just with tomato sauce and it was yummy.

I use brown lentils to make shepherd's pie. Just cook lentils for 20 minutes then add some peas, carrots, mushrooms cover with a layer of mashed potato and stick in the oven for 30 minutes. Yummy.

mmmm red lentil is so good. I make something like mashed potatoes of them and it goes great with some burgers.

And brown lentil I just cook and eat them like that, nothing special and it taste just fine, especially when I know they have 20-25 g of protein.
