Ultimate Fighter Season Whatever

Postby SpugFab » Fri Apr 04, 2008 12:03 pm

Anyone going to be watching this one? I'm just watching the first episode now.

Good move to have a round of fights to get into the house in my opinion, some of the fighters on the last couple of seasons were so poor.

Last Fight Night card (13) featured a lot of the recent TUF graduates and had some pretty significant matchups involving Florian, Parysian, Alexander and so on. Worth looking up if you've not seen it.

Exellent episode! really entertaining. Good concept though some will get through easy, some good fighters will get knocked out before getting a proper chance to train and get better.

But shit happens. Great fights there already, a lot of heart in some of them.

I've not got the net at home anymroe so I'm having to wait for TUF7. The new set up is great though. At least those in the house will have some fighting experience unlike some of the chumps from previous series.

Can't wait for GSP/Serra and Danzig/Bocek on the 19th!!

People are people
So why should it be
You and I should get along so awfully

Now you're punching
And you're kicking
And you're shouting at me
And I'm relying on your common decency
So far it hasn't surfaced
But I'm sure it exists
It just takes a while to travel
From your head to your fist

I cant understand what makes a man
Hate another man
Help me understand

Another solid episode, teaser trailer for house antics looked ok too.

The relationship between Forrest and Rampage looks like it should be good for a few laughs.

Last fight of the episode was good, both fighters looked decent. The jujitsu black belt who basically walked through his opponent was impressive. "Southpaw Red" seemed like a character too :)

i loved the second episode too, and the line up looks impressive.

But you can already see who have more serious, dedicated and "professional" approach, and who are the jocks coming in for laughs and scraps.

I hate the house antics man :D Just make me want to shoot them all...

Just watched the latest episode (should really be packing for the cycling weekend )

CLASSIC!!!

Honestly, really enjoyed it.

The "Bad Bad Matt Brown" story was a good one, second fight was absolute classic, Rampage doing a dance. Loved it :D

My faith in TUF has been restored :)

aye good episode, just finished it.

The quality of fights hasnt been that impressive - and its not like matt vs jeremy restored that.

The second fight did a bit though - and more good things to come i reckon.

No clear shining starts yet unlike in past seasons where you could almost see from the outset who will be the finalists.

loving rampages bullshit

I haven't seen the Matt Brown vs Jeremy May fight yet, but I've been watching the show so far. I love the show, but I hate how they have adopted the MTV protocol of amping up the drama and showing clips out of context to make it seem worse. Mac Danzig's blog regarding what actually went on last season vs what was edited and shown is hilarious.

CB Dolloway is most likely going to win, he seems like he's on a different level than all the other fighters.

Yeah very impressive. As one of the fighters said on the last episode, Tim Credeur looks like his main opposition.

I think those two were picked one and two on the first episode?
