I got this email from the Veggie Snow organisers with whom Gelert and Iare going on a ski holiday in March. I did the Veggie snow holiday last year and it was great! Anyone interested?

Hi there veggie snow friends,

Our 2007 veggie snow skiing and boarding trip was fully booked months ago.

Since then we've built up a rather impressive waiting list. With a few more
people we could fill another chalet, and there's one right next door that is
still available.

So if you'd like a chance to go on one of our really popular veggie & vegan
snow holidays in a highly rated ski resort with a good snow record and enjoy
lovely company and hearty food, then do speak up now.

Details of the trip are at:
http://www.veggiesnow.makessense.co.uk/events/149.html

tell your friends!

I've literally just tonight been thinking about next year's Vegan Fitness week and wondering if we could do something like this ourselves (prompted by a really snazzy green ski suit I saw in one of the weekend supplements - I must have it!!!) when I stumbled upon your unanswered post! I'd love to go, but the price of the one above feels a little prohibitive to me - or is this actually pretty good value?

Thanks for the mention Fruitbat. I'm organising next year's Veggie Snow vegan trip right now. So tell me anyone if you are interested.

It always looks a bit expensive at first, but what other holiday do you have most of your food costed in up front? Also skiing is pricey, I can't deny. Only way to get it much cheaper is self-catering last minute.

This year's options I am looking into may be even better value, or at least the same as last year's. We'll be going by overnight train again as this is so eco-friendly and gets you two fabulous extra days' skiing with empty pistes. And you never have to explain what you want to eat - you get three gorgeous vegan meals a day without question. See www.veggiesnow.com for extra details, other places to ski and my full contact info too.
