The list supplied in the link above should put you on the right track. I just wanted to add that if you speak French you could also go to a traditional restaurant and tell the waiter nicely that you don't eat meat/fish/eggs /dairy and ask if they could prepare you something. They're usually extra nice.

LOL I officially live in France (am never here) and my experience so far is that people look at you with disbelief if you simply say your vegetarian. Trying to explain to them that you don't eat any animal products sends them into a state of shock. They just all love their foie gras too much to understand.

So far have checked out LE GRAND APPETIT and LE POTAGER DU MARAIS

Le Grand Appetit - Macrobiotic food. Was a bit bland but I quite liked it; was nice and light. Atmosphere was, well, unique. Felt a bit like communist east Germany, but was something new so all good.

Le Potager Du Marais - Organic vegetarian restaurant. Great food, great atmosphere. Loved the aubergine caviar and the quinoa pate filled with pine nuts and covered with mushroom sauce. Recommend the place!

Little basic isn't it? I really like the fact that they do not sell water; they have a cooler which you help youself from. This is good becasue I drank about two litres to wash down 5kg of lentils and grated carrot that was my dinner!!!

Personally I think you can't beat the Grenier De Notre Dame

Personally I think you can't beat the Grenier De Notre Dame

They had free Tea as well this time. Water is free everywhere in france as long as you ask for a jug.

Will definitely have to check out Le Grenier De Notre Dame
