What is Las Vegas like for Vegans I will be there on the 23rd of July competing in the International Classic and would like to stay for a good few days

go to a place called go raw. amazing raw food. everything was really good. and they have 2 locations in vegas.

I've only been once but my guess is if you're on the strip it's not the ideal place for vegans, unless you call in advance to places.

I went to Vegas as an omni, but my wife was vegetarian at the time. Vegas is all about excess and people were basically scarfing down every animal product imaginable in vast quantities. There didn't look to be much else.

That said, for the right price, a hotel there will do just about anything for you in Vegas.

i take it you have already look at happycow.net for a restaurant guide? thats where i find places to eat every week while i am traveling for work. it really does help.

and just go to "go raw cafe." its amazing. their raw blueberry cheesecake is breathtaking. literally. it stole my breath away. but eating there everyday can get expensive unless your doing well on the poker table =)

I had a quick look at happy cow and yes it looks like it could be ussfull as moving on after Vegas
Yes I will go to the raw cafe raw cheesecake yummy oh I am on my comp diet set me off thinking about naughty vegan food now
I will play the slot,s but that will be it for me,after a few hands of poker I get fed up and then start losing

I tell what they have alot of in Vegas which is good is Gym,s,thinking about it they must need them as there is alot of Showgirl,s that train.
Anyone try the Anytime Fitness gym,s? they look good state of the art equipment and cheap $37 a month with a month,s free tan bed,s

When I was living in Las Vegas, I learned "Vegan" had a different meaning to the locals, it meant somebody from Las Vegas (and pronounced vay-gan).

For vegan eating, I can't remember if I ever ran across any strictly vegan places to eat, but there are buffets in most casinos where you can choose what you want..and pick strictly vegan food from the salad bar. The off-strip casinos have cheap buffets, but they get expensive on the strip.
