Hello, I'm new here...

Hello all,

I'm a fairly new vegan after spending most of my life as a lacto-vegetarian.

I'm in my early 20s and currently don't do any sort of exercise. This is something that I wish to change.

My main problems are:
- a small beer belly (even if I practically never drink)
- very weak back and shoulders
- underdeveloped arms

Now, I'm not looking to transform myself into some bodybuilding superman, but would like to have:
- a flat waist (6 pack would be nice, but I'm not banking on it).
- much stronger arms, that are bigger too, as mine are just so skinny
- reinforce my back and shoulders.

I don't have that much time due to work and could probably only do some exercise a couple of days a week (either before or after work) and at weekends.
I'm NOT interested in joining a gym or sports club at this time.

On a usual day, I will eat:

- Breakfast: Weetabix with soy milk, peanut butter on toast, soy milky-chocolate
- Lunch: A couple of sandwiches + fruit or a cold pasta dish + fruit
- Usually pasta/potatoes/rice... with a veggie burger of some kind and some veg.

I also take veggie vitamins.

Now, I don't really know where to start, so I'd be most grateful if I could get some advice on easy exercises I could do, as well as how often, for how long... and how I could improve my diet.
I've got some weights (a few kilos each) but don't really like doing them, I also need to buy a machine for my stomach as I'm not very good at sit-ups...

At the end of the day, I want a healthier body (I need to put on weight) to complement my healthy eating.

Thanks in advance for helping a newbie!
