-smoothie: 3 cups mixed greens, 2 bananas, 1 apple
-3 slices whole grain toast
-1 glass of carrot juice
-2 cups mixed fruit (strawberries, melon, pineapple)

Wednesday's Exercise:
-1 hour hike (*see pictures below!)
-10 minutes yoga/stretching
-30 minutes on the elliptical machine

I also treated myself to a professional massage! :) Wow, did that feel great! I had never had one before, so it was a treat! The muscles in my legs are very happy now! It was sort of a reward to myself for completing my half marathons this month!

I'm taking some vacation time off from work. You know that feeling when you're just about to get so sick of your routine? That's how I felt, and I knew it was time for a break! So, I'm enjoying my time off and exploring my own city of San Francisco. (But will still be checking in and posting here!)

Here are some pictures from my hike today, around the San Francisco Bay:

Thursday's Fuel:

-1/2 canteloupe
-smoothie: 3 cups mixed greens, 2 bananas, 1 nectarine
-1 mango
-1 apple
-1 banana
-1 cup sliced cumber, 1 cup snap peas, dipped in hummus
-juice: beet, carrot, celery
-veggie burger on wheat bun, with lettuce, tomato, onion
-1 cup mixed greens
-juice: carrot
-Luna bar
-1 cup mixed greens
-1 cup steamed kale
-1 corn and zuccini tamale

This seems like a ton of food...but then I did a lot of exercise... :!:

Thursday's Exercise:

-40 minutes yoga
-25 minutes circuit weight training (full body)
-core exercises
-55 minutes on the stationary bicycle
-35 minute run*

*This was my first run since the half marathon. It was so nice to not wear a watch! I didn't worry one bit about how far or how fast...I just ran, and it felt great. I had been putting a lot of pressure on myself with each of my runs leading up to the half marathon, I was always concerned about my time. This was such a nice change! :)

Weldone Dextera - that's a great time you did espesh in the rain! Glad to see that you are enjoying running again. And BTW, that is calorifically not a ton of food even though there is a lot of it - I don't lnow how you keep fueled on that  !
A computer can beat me at chess, it can confuse me beyond belief and it can play mind games with me but it is no match for me when it comes to kick boxing.
