Le Grennier de Notre Damme *** (very friendly, great food (veg/vegan )

La Picalo Teatro *** (Cheese bakes a speciality but still plenty of choice)

Le Grand Appetite * (food is fine, but very very very dull!! - but I think it is all vegan)

Paradis de Fruit - lots of these. **

There is also another one near Sacre Coeur (near the steep narrow steps - not the broad ones)

Hey,

Here’s a list of restaurants that could be helpful. Vegetarianism took a while to catch in France so veganism is pushing it a bit... So the list is mainly of veggie restaurants with vegan options too.

Lémoni Café

La Victoire Supreme Du Coeur
41, rue des Bourdonnais
75001 Paris

Certains L'aiment Bio
37 rue Monconseil,
75001 Paris

Country Life
6 rue Danou
75002 Paris , on the 1st floor above a health food shop
Vegan

Le Potager du Marais
22, Rue Rambuteau
75003 Paris

Au grand Appetit
9 rue la Cerisaie
75004 Paris

Le Grenier de Notre-Dame
18, Rue de la Bûcherie
75005 Paris

La Petite Légume
36, rue des Boulangers
75005, Paris

Guenmai
6 rue Cardinale, Germain des Pres
Paris 75006

La Macrobiotheque
17 Rue de Savoie
75006 Paris

Pousse-Pousse
7, Rue Notre Dame de Lorette
75009 Paris

Joy in food
2, Rue Truffaut
75017 Paris

L’Epicerie Verte
5 rue Saussier-Leroy

If you find yourself in need of something, snacks or stuff, head for Naturalia (healthfood shop). They’re pretty much everywhere in Paris. See a link below.

the above ones are ones I have eaten in and they were all nice and different. There are no vegan dessert in Grenier de Notre Dame. All three are very wholesome food kinds of places. My favourite is Victoire Supreme du Coeur for ambiance, food and price.

The Paradis du Fruit places are awesome for their smoothies, fruit salads and sorbets, and a few vegan option (not labbeled but menu is available in English to read through the ingredients of each dish) for main courses.

Naturalia healthfood shops are awesome.

agreed, a really nice restaurant. don't forget maoz, awesome falafels. there's one maoz in the latin quarter really close to notre dame, I think there are more maoz places in paris but this is the only one I've been to.

I have never been to Paris as a vegan, but really struggled a couple of years ago in Nice. Has to be one of the most UN-vegan friendly places ever. Shame, as it is such a nice place.

I can't believe no-one has mentioned this amazing place: it's called TIEN HIANG and it's at 92 rue St Maur, in the 11th arrondissement (near the Bastille/Chemin Vert/Voltaire metro stations). It's a Chinese restaurant which is fully vegan, and yet the menu is literally something like ten pages long, with hundreds of dishes from different parts of Asia, like Vietnamese Pho, but all prepared according to the Buddhist tradition of using meat substitutes instead of meat. I know that sounds a bit dubious, but it is seriously the best Chinese food I have ever had - way better than anything I had when I ate meat (and I used to love meat). And then there's so much choice - I have been going there every week since I discovered this place and still haven't tried everything on the menu. I can't even remember the last time I went to a restaurant and had more than two or three dishes to choose from (and that's counting appetisers)!

I'll go there on Saturday for my tea (not that I'm rubbing it in about me being in Paris to see the tour on Sunday :D ) and give a detailed report.

Thanks borntocry.

I'm the same with La Truffe. I have spent entire days looking for it. The street number just doesn't seem to exist! Has anybody found La Truffe?
