Well a couple of people suggested I start a training log, so here goes.
I have got no specific training goals, I'm not preparing for a particular sporting event or anything like that, I am just aiming for personal improvement.
Friday is about the worst day for me. I finish work at 10pm on Thursday, then do 7am - 5pm on Friday and 6am -12 noon on Saturday. It messes up my sleep pattern and means I don't feel like doing much on a Friday evening except get an early night.
Anyway, last night I managed;
Press ups - 30+30+25
Sit ups - 25+20
Chin ups - 4+2+1
Running - About 2km
I don't have proper training sessions, I just get down on the floor, do as many press up and sit ups as I can, then carry on doing whatever else I was doing until I feel like I can get down again and do some more.
I haven't even got any running shoes. I just run round the forest in the same safety boots I wear at work. Who needs ankle weights when you've got steel toe caps ?
