I am writing a sequel at the moment, though it is going slow, as there is so much else going on. I might ask you to proof read it Daniel, as I am more nervous about this one than the first - it has more to live up to.

I will read all stories written by vegans (humm.. maybe starting a new topic  )!

With my (true!) story, I wanted to stress that it's the obstacles, be them inner (everybody, including parents, teaching us as young that animal food is necessary and so on) or outer (where is the boundary between inner and outer, anyway?) that prevents normal people from being vegan/vegetarian. If you enlighten them, and help them to surpass the obstacles, there is no reason for any conscious mind to support eating non-vegan food. Non-vegans suffer from social adaptation.
The object of Strength is to control Power, which should pave the way for Noncruel Freedom. If Mind sustains Strength, and Noncruel Freedom supplies Spirit, which enhances Mind, then the head of causality unites its tail and Time is willing to serve Mind.

Good point. In other words, they are brainwashed.

It is too painful to admit that you are part of such cruelty, which is why so many people can't bear to look at the facts. After all, they were fed meat from such an early age that by the time they are able to understand the problem, they are part of the problem. That is how it was with me anyway.

It would be great to have a vegan partner, and there is a better than average pool of vegans in Denver/Boulder, but like the old saying goes...the odds are good, but the goods are odd. :?

So...i tend to date non-veggies more often. Hopefully, I'm at least planting a seed in their mind about vegetarianism/veganism that might sprout in the future!

I was a non-vegetarian most of my life up until a few years ago, so it's really difficult for me to snub dating non-veggies.

I've never even met a vegan in person before and I'm 31. I think I've only met two female vegetarians. (Tried to date one, didn't work out.)
