I did do them at the end of my workout (my workout being a battle with a large log pile in an Austrian forest!) but never the less I am not good for more than about 6-7 fresh. I once did ten, but I have long arms and have always been quite heavy - bodyweight exercises just don't do me any favours!

ah I see - I'm skinny so doing some more pullups should be possible..
sounds quite exhausing, did you beat the log pile?

No not really. The best I managed was about 80kg overhead, and it was really little compared to the other logs there. And I hurt my hand so I think that it really did win!

Pullups are a funny thing. As you gain weight you may well fnid them very much harder to do unless you train them specifically. Seeing as I prefer bent over barbell row, my pullups are rubbish!

jeez! 80kg? I have trouble pushing 32kg overhead so I can squat them
Yeah some weeks ago I put a backpack with some weights on my back and did some pullups - it was quite intense! maybe I should use the skinny-guy-bonus to improve my repetitions until I grow bigger
I do barbell rows, too although it's an exercise I don't like at all.

oh well, I don't know exactly because I don't have a weighing machine but at the moment my diet consists mainly of lentils with oil added and stuff like musli and fruits and a lot of green vegetables. I think lentils are awesome because they got plenty of protein and iron AND I can eat them all day without getting too full :P
any suggestions what I could add to my diet?

Variety. Unless you are po' like me. :D How many grams of fat, grams of carbohydrates, grams of protien do you consume in a day?

Hmmm, I would maybe suggest including more protein dense foods in your diet, like tofu and seitan. Perhaps a protein shake too?? But overall I think that the most important thing is to generally increase your calories. Your lifts will go up really quickly as soon as you start to gain weight steadily. A kilo a month is a good target :D

oh well, I don't know exactly - about 3000kcal and 80g of protein and I try to add margarine and oil for fat to each food...

yeah, today a package with foods which are rich in protein arrived so I can boost up my intake for the next weeks :) I tried protein shakes but it tastes so awful and makes me so full that I don't think it makes much sense. I prefer getting my protein from foods. It's strange, my lifts went up clearly without any weight gain in the last weeks. a kilo a month would be awesome!

3000 calories a day is pretty good. If you stick to that you should gain steadily. I don't think you should worry too much about protein - 80g a day is ok imo.

Agreed. Though I would still shoot for maybe 100g a day if you can make it. Regarding shakes, I think we talked about recipes on VBB? Did even that taste awful? They will make you full for a short while, so if you were to take just one a day, take it just before bed :D
