July 4, 3.3 miles, 37 mins., 11.2 min.-mile, 12 day break.
7, 3-4* miles, 49 mins. * I dug through my notes hoping I'd find a closer approximation to this route's distance, but I couldnt find anything very reliable, so it's pointless to give a min.-mile figure. Also, I'll sometimes vary the route, usually spur of the moment, though I'm guessing all the variations I've done are more or less the same distance. I'll have to get out my pedometer and measure it again, though, as I've said before on this log, I'm not very confident in the reliability of that device.
17, 3-4* miles, 46 mins. Very little right knee pain, in fact, it's been almost if not totally absent these last 6 or so runs, which is a little surprising because it's almost been a constant since I started running. I have no clue as to why it's improved so much. Started out and continued with more energy than usual, but when I did stop to rest a moment near the end of the run, I did get a little dizzy. It's hard to say how much this is strictly physiological or psychologically induced. But it wasn't anything I'm really concerned about.
20, 3-4 miles, 47 mins.Caught my reflection is a series of big dark windows of a modern building along my route and was really disappointed to see how much I ran like an old man. I thought my pace had a little more spring to it than what I saw. My left foot almost dragged, but I did feel some stiffness in my right ankle that day. I hope I can improve this, if only for vanity.
23, 3-4 miles, 44 mins. Checked my self in the window above again and I think my step had a big more spring than before, so maybe there's some hope for me.
