Thursday 9th May
BJJ (1h30)
More spiderguard stuff: omoplata, then swinging into a triangle
3 x live drilling, each on top
3 x 6min sparring

Got absolutely schooled by everyone, just sat on and submitted the entire time. Wasn't feeling very switched on or very motivated, not sure why.

Friday 10th May
No gi (1h)
Escapes from triangle
3 x 2min30 on top escaping triangle, on bottom trying to finish triangle
About 10mins with 3 in the middle starting on bottom trying to finish triangle, rest of class lined up

Didn't do too badly, never lasted too long in the middle but managed some sweet finishes in the first batch, particularly with Luiz encouraging me. Felt good.

Monday 13th may
BJJ (1h)
Escapes from armbar, and then a little more work on the armbar itself
3 x 2min30 on top trying to escape, on bottom trying to finish armbar

Legs were really strong and I didn't get submitted, though did let a couple of armbars escape. Managed to escape armbars from each of my opponents, and finished one. Base was good, resilience was good. Legs blew out though about 1min in to my second partner's escaping round.

Didn't do the no gi as was unsure as to who would turn up - turns out loads of gi people stayed so regret not staying.

10 x 10 rope pulls
15mins upright bike level 6 (mile splits: 4:07, 4:01, 4:08 - called it a day there as had reached the point of diminishing returns)
8 x 30 abs
stretching

Legs are tired now!
